Default Underdrive Pulleys question

I am looking at some bbk aluminum underdrive pulleys for my mom's 02 gt, and someone asked if they were the piggyback style, What does that mean?

Piggyback means you need to use the stock harmonic balancer bolted to the new pulley or "piggybacked" on it.

Non-piggyback styles like Steeda are a complete replacement as they have the piece integrated into the new part and is a direct swap for the old unit.
