Default Anyone Else Drive Like a Grandma?

*no offense to any of the members of this site that may actually be a grandma*

I definetly drive like a grandma now. I have owned my Cobra for 3 weeks and I havent brought it to the redline in any gear yet, and I havent even banged through a few of the gears. I used to drive pretty crazy.

Anyone else realize that they drive slow?

I do just to save gas but when there is someone playing with me I tend to accept the challenge.

I resent this thread, because I am a grandma and proud of it. I have 6 glorious grandchildren. LOL seriously though, I do drive like a grandma most of the time, mainly because I don't want to spend so much money on gas and new tires. Also I love my low insurance rate and I want to keep it that way. I tend to speed if I am late for work (quite often lol). That's when I make sure my radar detector is on. 27 years old here.

I do, however my grandmother (my mother's mother) had a lead foot...Seriously though, I bought aMustang to enjoy the driving experience. I hit redline 4 or 5 times a day, 100+ mph at least once (usually in the morning @5:30 on I-95 headed in to Daytona), and really enjoy seeing the line of cars behind me getting smaller and smaller in the mirrorat a just turned traffic light! This seems to costs me 1.5 to 2.0 mpgas compared to driving like one of the "gray hairs" (which at 60 I'm allowed to say)--22.5 to 23.0 versus 24.5 (3.73s w/a nice 93 octane tune) or so the boring way...

I am mostly afraid of getting a ticket (cops are all over the place around here now). And of braking the car (It does have 60k miles on it).

the reason the age should be in there is because when I was 16-19 I would drive irratically all the time but after about 6 speeding tickets I've learned my lesson.
