Default Stock injectors?

What size is our stock injectors? There is this guy selling 24lb injectors for a 96-04 GT. He said to get a 90mm Lightning MAF and the injectors with a retune for some power. I have to call him tomorrow to get the price on the injectors. I heard this from a friend so I don't have all the details. I think he said they are new cause the person never got them installed so the shop has them laying around. I was just wondering if it was worth it and what size our stock injectors are?

You wont gain any power by switching to a larger MAF and larger injectors. I think you came stock with 19 lbs. Unless you are maxing out the duty cycle of the injector, theres no need to upgrade. With your mods, I doubt you are even close to maxing them out.

No need to upgrade your MAF or injectors unless you hit 350+hp, you wont gain any more power either, regardless of tuning. Injectors don't work better or worse depending on their size, just how much fuel at what duty cycle they are capable of. The MAF is just a sensor, it won't give you more power, it just is capable of metering higher amounts of air.

That said I think 24 is the stock injectors.

I was thinking 19 or 24 so you may be right. They are the pink tops is all I can really remember.

They are 19lbs injectors btw.
99-04 3.8L had 21lbs injectors
A few select 99 models had 22.5lbs injectors but didnt have the maf tuned for that amount thus being able to interchange with the 21lbs injectors.

03/04 Mach1 has 24lb injectors.

Oh ok thanks guys. I told my friend I wasn't really interested but it was something I just wanted to look into. I'll let him know cause he is going to the shop to pick his car up tomorrow and he might end up buying the injectors.
