Default new heads? 4v

k so i havnt gotten a straight answer from this and am really curiouse, so i have a 98 cobra, and was thinking about doing a head swap but going to either a 01 or 03 cobra style head, i know that the intake would have to be changed out and probably new cams, but besides this, will everything else just kind of fit right up? and would i have to change anything else on the car? thanks for the help

Keep your cams, they'll work in newer heads (and actually are better because they are the most aggressive). Everything else should fit without problems.

Everything should swap over great. Get a set of 03/04 Cobra heads or Mach 1 heads. Those are the best flowing mass production heads yet. The exhaust port outflows the FR500 and the intake is very very close.

The Mach 1's cams are agressive as well. Back in 04' I use to hear people call them FRPP stage II cams but I never saw anything to back that up.

Get a Mach1 intake and port it out, cut the bottom off as well and port the bells out, then weld it all back together, get an intake cap spacer and your good to go. Those things flow AWESOME with just a little prep work.
