Default Anyone else have these tires?

http://www.americanmuscle.com/sumito...265-35-18.html

They seem like they dont got alot of life to them. My bfg gforces seemed to last longer. I have done a couple burnouts with them but my bfgs I did some huge *** burnouts and still had alot of tread left on them. Just was wondering what everyone else thought of them.

For the price of sumis you can get a Falken or hankook tire from discounttiredirect.com.

a mustang shop near me recomened those saying they are a great tire for the mustang for the price. But by looking at them and what ive heard from other people they are terrible. If your looking for something cheap ive had a set of falken ze512's for about 25k and im replacing them this week but they have been decent tires i think they were $120 a peice 2 years ago.

I have Riken Raptors all the way around. They are cheap, hook and seem to wear well.

Having longtread life and high performance "summer" tires are mutually exclusive desires--I run Falken Azenis (RT-615) on my '92 Miata and only get 10k-12k miles from a set. Longer tread life = harder rubber = easier burnouts = less hookup, and poorer handling. Like jkm1987 I like the Falken Ziex 512's (a much improved version of their older 502), I run them for "normal" tires on the Miata and installed a set on the '03 GT (245/45-17 up front, 275/40-17 at the rear) right after I got it.

Im running 315/35/17 HTR's on the back of mine at the moment, and I would highly reccomend them. The tread wear so far has been good.. handling at the road course was improved quite a bit over my drag radials.. they are a very soft rubber compound that is pretty similar to a drag radial, so they hook all right... a LOT better than when I had on my good year gaterback 245's... almost the same hook on the street as my BFG's had.

Also.. thats way to much for those tires... I dont know what it is about that size.. but they are more expensive everywhere...
Check the ones I got out:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Compar...;x=24&y=15

Thats the ones I bought. 96 bucks for 315's.. figured I would try them out and like them a lot.
