i just bought 18' rims wit little tire left on them and when i looked at the prices of new tires then i relized i got the rims for 500.. they quoted me at 1200 for z rated i think

I'll put it this way. I bought 18" for my last mustang (RIP) and while they looked great, I bought 285 for the back and 245 for the front i believe and the tires cost me $750 and that was a deal. I bought 17" this time around and was able to put 315 meaters on the back and 275 on the front (badass tires) and the whole set was $1,000. So about $300 difference. BTW the wider the tire the meaner the stance of the car.
