Default Odd idle issue

So yesterday night I was leaving work when I was rolling up to a stop sign in 2nd (~24mph) and it felt like it wasn't "pulling back" when I usually down shift. So I get to the stop sign and I realize my car is sitting at 2000 RPM and my foot isn't even on the gas. Anyone have a clue about this?

either clean the IAC replace or do the IAC "mod" which requires you to make a new gasket with a smaller diameter hole.this will alow the rpms to drop quicker and retain a steady idle.

Where is the IAC? Any certain thing I should use to clean this?

if ur standing in front of the car looking at the engine. gonna be on ur right side on the plenum. has a wire conector going into the top and a hose maybe 1/2' o.d runing into it. 2 8mm bolts hold it to the plenum. remove the conection, hose and two bolts. i used throttle body cleaner in the plenum and IAC. just dont get any on the wire conections. Notice the diameter of the hole in the gasket? YOu can purchase some gasket maker from Advanced or ur local parts dealer and make a new gasket with a smaller diamter hole. this will drop the rpms quicker and keep a steady idle.
