Default Traction Control?

I was installing my MGW today and I noticed that although I don't have tractio control, there was a wiring harness for it. I do have ABS, but not traction control. Does Ford simply call the switch the option? I broke part of the clip closest to the back of the car and it moves slightly so I was going to replace the bezel. Should I replace it with one that has traction control? If it isn't going to do anything, I won't bother.

The switch doesn't activate the TC system, as it is always on by default. The button turns the system off.

If you don't have the switch, you probably don't have tc, so installing a switch probably won't do anything.

That is what I figured. So that harness is just there for no reason?

Don't fret over not having it, turning it permanently off was the first thing I did with my tuner...

I don't really care that I don't have it. I would like to have it, but it is no big deal. It was more about the interior piece. I wasn't sure if I should get the one with the switch or not.
