Can anyone with experience with one of the C&L 80mm mafs tell me a lil about them and how your car acted after installing it. also will it be a good combo with the mods in my signature? im getting one for $75.00 thats why im giving it a try. thanks in advance.

With your mods you don't need it. If you go with an S/C you should upgrade to a larger MAF. Stick with a Ford Lightning MAF if you go that way.

well the reason why i got it i got it really cheap for $75.00 plus i think my stock maf is malfunctioning, because im having detonation unless i run 93 octane in my car and ive already put the car back to the original tune and im having the same problem.

That maf is know for making cars run like crap. It will be very rich and it doesnt read accurate.

well what makes a car detonate being to lean or to rich? if its gonna richen me up then maybe i wont get the detonation.
