Default question about 1/4 mile

A few questions. 1) is your ET based on when you crossed the bean or when you get the green. 2) I have generally running a .10 or lower reaction time and getting the 60 around 2.25. What is a good 60 ft and what are the best ways to increase that time. I have not put tires on or a rear end. I am sure that would help but how much.

I have an automatic 2001 GT convertible
i have installed cat back, tuner, CAI, plenum w/ thorttle body, reduced weight, underdrive pulleys

It start when you move. The best time is Drag tires hands down. A sub 2 60' is ok

1. you start when you role past your starting lights. the only thing that will be affected by waiting is your reaction time. 2. .500 is a perfect reaction time on 1,2,3 go light. .000 is perfect on a prostock all three blink and go. anything under 2.0 60' is good. And with those mods you got a nice start.
