2000gt heads on a 98gt?
Will they work, or did i waste my money?

It's called a P.I. swap and yes it will work you should get a signifacant horsepower gain out of it!!!!

make sure you get the cams and intakemanifold as well.

Ive got all that but i saw earlier on here that the 99 and 2000 gt heads were windsor heads and my block is a romeo block i was wondering if that was true?

The heads will swap right onto your car. Regardless of the shortblock (R or W) all the modular 2v stuff will bolt together.
However, I think the 98 has the same setup as the 99/00? I thought they changed over to the 6 bolt in 01?

The thing is that you will need a couple of different timing cover bolts.. Randy over at MD will know what you need and get you all the little pieces
