Default short shifter stop point

do u just adjust the shifter throw bolt to stop the shifter as soon as it enters the gear or how do i know where to adjust it too so i dont ruin the tranny

if you have the tr3650 (2001.5-2004) than you should take the stops out.

This is for a pro 5.0 but it should work for you.

I would never run a short throw without the postitve stops in place, regardless of tranmission type.

just make it so it sits about 1-2 mm back or so. Dont make it so far that if you pull back hard, it doesnt hit the stop. you want it to hit the stop but not too soon so you dont fully engage the gear.
