Default question for procharger guys

according to the procharger page it says theres a kit for 96-04gts..now i was wondering is there a different mounting bracket for the different years? it doesnt say on the page

I don't think so. From 96 to 04, besides the PI intakes, the rest of the engine is pretty much the same.

The mounting bracket isdifferent on the 99 than the 00-04 models (have the instruction manual in front of me).This manual covers 99-04. I would venture to say that the 96-98 would be different as well seeing as though they are not covered in this manual. The reason being is the timing cover on the engine is different and the pulley/ belt track is different.

hmm alright id like to know cuz im lookin at prochargers around likeebay and suchand theres a lot more for 99-04, so i was wondering if ther was a difference

Yes there is a difference. A littlebit of advice... I understand that you may not have the funds to get a new, complete kit but keep in mind that it is definately worth the extra money. It will keep you from having to track down a bunch of other stuff you might not get with a unit you find on ebay. I suggest you check out www.jmschip.com or www.modularpowerhouse.com .
