Whats wrong with my transmission?
My auto tranny is acting wierd. It wont shift where its supposed 2 and will go deep past redline if i dont let off the gas. I took the diablo tune off and its still acting wierd, i thought it was the tune but apparently not. I took it down the street and floored it 3 times, 2 times it wouldnt shift and 1 time it shifted fine....what do you guys think? the car is a 2002 GT with the 4R70W

My car was doing the exact same thing at WOT. I took the tune off and then it was fine however. But I went ahead and got a new converter and put the tune back on and it shifts perfect again. My point, it could possibly be your converter slipping. Mine on the dyno under load was slipping, so I upgraded and couldn't be happier.

Talk to Darrin at BC Automotive. They do amazing work. Get a valve body while your at it, it performs ten times better than increasing line pressure. He will build it the way you want it. My car now shifts faster without being firmer, so I hook in second now and don't waste any power. Also, regular driving is night and day because the slippage in the automatic is virtually gone. Best upgrade yet that I have done.
