RE: turboing a mustang??????????
thats tooo pricey... its the DIY then. lol.. the only thing i worry about is trying to get hold of the manifolds and such for a turbo setup... and also how to get back to the exhuast from the turbo... yet im still waiting to see how much i put down with the blower and nitrous. which will be a month away... i was thinking of this turbo setup as a next winter project. but we will have to see what a lil ole S trim can do.

check out Tmaturbo.com The guy does a lot of 3.8's and 5.0'sbut he custom builds the kits himself so im sure he could do some fab work for you. I have a sixer myself and was thinking about going with a 4.6 but after looking at the potential with the turbos, it made more financial sense to turn my lil sixer into a gt slayer rather than make payments for 3-4 years.
His kits come with garrets and precision turbos.

I think your gonna be happy with the S trim. Espcially with your nitrous if you have the proper suspension setup you should have enough there for 10s. MM&FF ran 10s with a full weight car, road race suspension, and something like 600 WHP.
If I were you, weight reduction would be my next step.

hey bud 700 on pump gas is insane, i dunno i havent seen a 700hp pump gas car yet but no your not going to get that unless you get a huge blower i doubt a T-trim would even make that power before being overspun, go with a nice 76mm single turbo and call it a day there no need for twin's its just twice as much, with a 76mm youll start boost at about 2500 and be at max at like 4500, got a buddy with one on a cobra and that thing is sick 12 psi, 13* of timing 91 octane and it made 550 on his break in tune, it will make 700 on race gas once the engine is broken in i would love to go turbo im going to start gathering the stuff to make one over this next year and it will be my new project next year

RE: turboing a mustang??????????
MPH has several non nitrous cars on pumpgas only with SQs and novi 2000s going 550-650 WHP.
Hell, they have a intecooled, stock intake, stock heads car with a novi 2000 making 60x to the tire. On a T trim its not going to be a problem. With the juice flowing though I bet you can get dammed close to 700 WHP even with the SQ.

700 WHP 2v on pump gas is not going to be easy at all, sure theres a small chance it willmake the powerbut its just NOT going to last on straitpump gas IMO.
If your spending all this money to make the poweryou cant spend a couple more dollars a gallon for what our cars at that power level should be run on? Assuming your going to be racing the car...
