O haha. Well its a torquey a.ss V8 so i would imagine it could tow a decent amount... The frame and tires would give out before the engine would.

Ok, if your not goin to "put" a hitch on what the hell you gonna pull. And if your contemplating strapping ropes somewhere in your car and pulling something out or anything of that nature, think again. Call a tow truck or get a buddie with a pick up or SUV.

The correct answer would be Zero Pounds. I would like to see how your going to attach the hitch to the frame, the company that makes the hitches, and how its going to work. Please post a video of you towing something in your GT.

Actually, 1000 is the correct answer. I sold Fords for 3 years. Several companies make a slide hitch (class IV? I dunno...) and how they attatch them I have no clue.

ive seen mustangs towing jet ski's before... hell, my friend bought a 99 vette alittle over a year ago.. and it had a tow hitch on the damn thing!! that was the first thing he took off, second day he owned the car it was gone.
