Default Heads

What do you guys think, a set of patriot heads for my 98 gt or another brand, I have heard alot of good things about patriot performance and was just wondering if it was a good idea. And also what do you guys reccommend on the stages? Thanks

Default RE: Heads

Stage 2 with appropriate cams is what I would go with.
Patriot had some issues a while back but they say they have it all corrected. Lately I have not seen anyone report an issue with their heads.

Patriot stage 2 heads are much cheaper than others and most times do not require a core.
Steen Racing, VT, MPH& Livernois are other good place to look but are more $$.

Also, the install isn't cheap and you will need a tune afterward.

Power gains are very good with the right tune.

get all the numbers of different places that sell ported heads or do porting services and ask them all what they best head porting service is, then ask how much more cfm it will flow over stock and then compair them all together.

Take the one that is the cheapest but closest to the highest flow.

If you dont want to take a chance then patriot is a good choice
