IM actualy looking for some used pi cams in the near future, you can pick em up for about $100 and if u install yourself thats a cheap 15hp. Or you can just upgrade thhe cams to aftermarket NPI cams, im not sure you can fit PI aftermarket cams in a NPI head, theres also PTV issues if you go .550.

You can use aftermarket PI cams in NPI heads but some things need to be changed...spring perches need to be machined and or Crower offset retainers.

Don't you have to watch the PTV clearance with the PI aftermarket cams usually running a .550 lift?

No why? PTV contactoccurs on the outer skirt of the piston so dish size is irrelevant to where the PTV takes place. A properly deegreed in set of cams won't have PTV

You shouldn't even have to touch your heads before maxing out your motor if you go with full bolt ons/blower/intake/cams on a NON PI headed car.
