Default Cam install

Anybody who is not a mechanic, Install Cams on there car themselves?... Was it rele hard?

Now I just glanced through that alittle bit, and I'm sure the directions are pretty thorough and clear, but would it be pretty self-explanatory for a guy who doesnt have any experience under the hood with internal parts like cams?

Man really cams are simple if your not changing out the springs. just remove the front cover and cam covers (which is the longest part) and from there swapping the cams should take no more then an hour. Then just put it all back together. Do a search for my how to build your own engine thread. Skip to the cams install part of it. That should help you out and you can see how easy it really is compared to the modular depot one.

Its not brain surgery but you have to pay attention to what you are doing. All cams should be degreed to prevent PTV but if that is beyond your ability and tools then go with a set of VT cams and just line the timing marks up correctly and you should be fine.

You should also have a friend or two and have alot of baggies and label everything you take apart and maybe take pics as you go so you have no problems putting it back together.

yea def going to take pics along the way... i want VT stage 2 cams... where can i find them for my car.. also i will need springs right?
