My friend has a 01gt. He has cold air, New exs. and little computer work done. And some how he can get sec. gear rubber with his auto. How is that possable?

When I had used tires with hardly any tread and when I got new tires, I could still chirp 2nd in my auto with the mods in my sig, which equals like 2rwhp. There was actually a few times when punching it from a dig I got kinda sideways when it shifted into 2nd, dont know how, but maybe I do have gears and dont know it and that helps.

The stang doesnt have gears wehave checked they are stock..thats why it blows my mind on how that can happen.Other gts i have been in cant do that.

From me doing numerous runs in different gears and at different speeds, some show I have 3.73's, and some show I have 3.90's but I dont truely know. But I can chirp them.

My mom has a 02 Mustang Gt Convertible Automatic with just welded on flowmasters and a drop-in k&n filter and it will bark the tires when shifting to 2ndjust about everytime.

probably just the kind of tires he has on it.

Either that or the "computer work" includes tranmission programmign and the pressure is turned way up.

I seriously think I might have gears and a nice computer tune because I have ran side by size by a modded LT1 and an LS1 GTO. And I know my mods arent helping me out that much.
