ive used nitto 555r's on some mountain roads... they work just fine... very good tire for the turns... the rear end doesnt like to kick our either.. which is what mustangs always do.
With the power you're putting to the ground, anything less than a drag radial is pretty much useless right? Can you hook at all on street tires?
well... i spin these drag radials through first anyways.... once when i had normal street tires i got on it at 70-75 and spun like hell... although that was stock width tires...

The MT d/r's sidewall is too thin and soft for twisties. Even the 17" ones. You will get pretty bad tire roll in hard cornering. I would get a set of Falken Azenis tires for twisties. And a set of 15 or 16" stock wheels for drag racing with the MT d/r's.

Wow.....I would absolutely NOT use any kind of drag radial for anything otherthan regular street use or straight line action..If you plan on the sidewalls folding under and plan on doing the worlds next Evil Knievel jump across the Grand Canyon then use them...[&:]

they wont work well the sidewalls are to soft they will roll over on themselfs on hard corner
