Default Bigger Brakes on 04 GT Vert

AmericanMuscle.com has two kits I'm looking at ...

Cobra Conversion
http://www.americanmuscle.com/ford-r...onversion.html

Mach 1 / Bullit
http://www.americanmuscle.com/01bull...onversion.html

Has anyone done this conversion / What do you think of the prices/performance of the upgraded kit?

Originally, I was just going to get Brembo rotors for the fronts [and probably Brembos for the backs when it needs 'em]

Thanks!

Yeah, that's almost $100 cheaper! I've just started warping the stock GT rotors, so it'll be a bit till I need 'em, but that's what I'll get - thanks!!!

its easy to do but i dont recommend doing the rear brakes if your drag racing. I installed some nice rear brakes and rotors but it holds to well on burn outs. Next time i am buying the cheap ones

You should get a line lock then. It locks the front brakes up and completely releases the rears. That way you can do a good burn out in the box but still have good breaking power on the street.

i can tell you from experience the hawk pads vs stock PBR pads on mach/bullitt are quite exceptional and i can notice a difference. it brakes with less pressure on the pedal and i havent noticed any fade yet but when i take it to the track ill find out.
