Default Help, my Stang is sick!!

I put some Seafoam in my car yesterday. Everything went normal, I think! I ran the car afterwards and it ran strong. Later that night it started running really rough. At low rpm's and high rpm's the car sort of sputters and backfires sometimes. It's doing the same thing today, but the "Check Engine" light came on. Could this be due to 'gunk' getting dislogded and clogging up the EGR or something else?!?!?! Please give your input, I'm not too fond of the check engine light coming on[]Thanks for your help.

Possible fouled plug. I'd start by going to Advanced and getting the code read. Once you find out what the code is, come back and ask again.

Do a search and you'll find a whole bunch of information about it. Long story short, it's a cleanser for your engine/fuel system that removes all the gunk and build-up that may lead to decreased performance and gas mileage.

Seafoam is some stuff you run through your fuel lines and is supposed to "clean out" your engine, valves, and injectors. I don't use that stuff. It can cause more damage that it is beneficial.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to have the code checked. I didn't know if there was something obviously wrong with it. I'll get back as soon as the code is checked. Thanks

+1 on it probably being a fouled plug

*Edit* did you check to see that all the lines were securely attached?
