Default Header Trouble

So I just had BBK LTs installed while I am deployed. My friend was driving the car to get some other work done and the check engine light came on. I did have the longer O2 sensors installed but my friend says there are 3 other sensors that have tripped as well as both O2 sensors. Anyone had this problem? One of my friends says that the flash tuner will fix this issue. While agreed that a flash tuner will help im not sold on the whole idea yet.

Mods are (on a 2004 GT)
K&N CAI
BBK LT Headers

HELP!! Im trying to get my baby ready before I come home.

well if you put on LT's that means you put on a complementing "shory" pipe, which is probably catless. those codes are because of your 02 sensors. Yeah you can get a set of "mil" eliminators or you can turn them off with a tuner, which some people says causes you to fail inspections, but I don't have any problem with mine. (mil eliminators + turned off in tune)

my X pipe has cats and I put the O2 extended sensors on. Just kind of confused on why this is happening now. Im trying to get ahold of my friend as we speak so I can find out what the other codes were. My inspection is overdue and I get back in two weeks.

The PCM monitors the amount of time it takes for commanded changes in AFR to be detected by the front O2 sensors, this is known as the O2 Transport Delay. When he sensors are moved further away from the exhaust manifold it takes longer for the sensors to report the changed AFR.

The O2 Transport Delay table (in the tune) needs to be modified.

So is there a way to fix this without a tune or do I need to do the tune? I figured the extensions would do the job but if I need to fix this another way I will.

unfortunatly I need to get a TX state inspection when I get back, plus the check engine light gets annoying. I want to do this right, you know?
