Need help about what's probably causing p0175 cel code?
What's up guys? My baby is driving like complete crap right now. Lately, she is idling rough in drive and park. If she's in park the car vibrates and idles rough between 600-800 rpms. Also, in drive with brake on she vibrates and idles rough to where she feels like she's going to stall. When accelerating she's real sluggish and hesistant toaccelerate. The car really has a jumpy or sputtering type of feeling when accelerating or just coasting in drive. She also makes a leak type of noise under the engine bay I think when in wot that kind of reminds me of the leak type of sound when head gaskets are bad. Symptoms where the same with the old IAC valve and are still present after the new IAC valve I Installed. The funny thing is that the cel p0175 didn't pop up to after I installed the new IAC valve. The code stands for rear bank 2 running to rich.

Now the carhas no power down low when accelerating and seems to be idling really bad in drive at any speed or in park.. The leak type of sound is even worse when accelerating now. It seems like something is going to blow if I get on it over 40 mph. The car has no power at all.

Causes A code P0175 may mean that one or more of the following has happened: [ul][*]The MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor is dirty or faulty. Note: The use of "oiled" air filters (K&N, etc.) can cause the MAF to become dirty if the filter is over-oiled[*]There could be a vacuum leak.[*]There could be a fuel pressure or delivery problem[/ul] Possible Solutions Possible solutions include: [ul][*]Inspect all vacuum and PCV hoses, replace if necessary[*]Clean the MAF sensor. Consult your service manual for it's location if you need help. I find it's best to take it off and spray it with electronics cleaner or brake cleaner. Make sure you are careful not to damage the MAF sensor, and make sure it's dry before reinstalling[*]Inspect fuel lines for cracks, leaks, or pinches[*]Check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail[*]Check the fuel injectors, they may be dirty. Use fuel injector cleaner or get them professionally cleaned/replaced.[*]Check for an exhaust leak before the first oxygen sensor (this is unlikely to cause the problem, but it is possible)[/ul]
