Default vent stuck on defrost

No matter what i have it set to the vents blow on defrost. I just swapped a pi intake in and was wondering if i might have screwed something up while doing this.

there is a small vaccuum line on the firewall right where ther heater core lines come out of the wall check to see if it is connected and also did you have any work done behind the stereo.

It's definately a vacuum problem. Whenever there is no vacuum to the HVAC controls they revert to defrost. Same thing happened to my work truck.

+1 on the line coming from the firewall. That is the only line that pulls vacume for the AC andit's very easy to break or unplug that brittle POS.

I am pretty sure that it is the vaccum line from the firewall. There is a hose hanging done there and it was resting on the block and it melted. Where does this hook up and what do you guys suggest that I do.
