Default tb spacer... good or bad?

i madethemistake of buying a part for my stang without reading up on it beforehand. i just went by the ad in summit saying it helps power and fuel economy. i got a 1 inch motervation tb spacer and it has the swirl veins in it to make a vortex. i got a trick flow upper plenium and a 75mm tb and it does not hit the butterfly when its wide open and it doesnt make the hole smaller so i wouldnt think it would restrict flow. but is there anyone here that has thisor somthin simular? just would be nice to know someone here got somthin good out of it so i didnt waste my money. thanks!

TB spacers on direct port fuel injection engines are a complete waste of money because basically the air and fuelare mixed in the cylinder.Spacers were designed for carburated engines to aid in mixing the air and fuel beforetraveling through the intake manifold runners and eventually to the cylinders.
