Supercharger or 03 Cobra
My Question is that I've been saving for an 03 Cobra and had been planning on buying it in the summer I don't dislike my car now I just wanted the supercharger and ease of more upgrades.
Another mustang owner who goes to school with me is selling his car and supercharger seperately. I'm thinking about buying his supercharger from him instead of the Cobra. He couldn't have used the supercharger for more then 3 months and says it has about 5000 miles on it. He only wants 2,000 for it. What do you guys think?
Obviously I already have a pretty penny in my stang as well.

The Kit is for a Paxton polished NOVI 1000

Definitely go for the Cobra. Without forged internals, your doing an injustice to your GT by S/C it, not to mention the headaches it will cause. Buy something that is built to take a S/C from the ground up. This includes the engine, trans, etc.

The Other thing I'm looking at is Debt, Right now I owe 5 on my car. A new Cobra runs say 22-26 Even if I put down 10 I'm still owning 12-16 for the next 5 years.

I say go with the supercharger on the GT-- not only will you get to build onto your baby, but you'll have one HELL of a sleeper. 
If money is an option, your better bet seems to be the supercharger. And, if you want, you could always get an 07 cobra... save up and sell the supercharged GT later.
