Default Air In Fuel Line - Need Advice

I have been having a shake at idle and low RPM's. Everything else checks out okay except for the fuel pressure. The fuel pressure varies between 30 and 45 PSI. I get a lot of air bubbles coming out of the reliefline on my pressure gauge. It's a constant flow of air bubbles mixed with the fuel, not just a few. I think that it's a bad fuel pump sucking air in. Has anyoneseen this before? Can the air get in any other way?

Bad o- rings on the quick connects can suck air in. I suspect that, before a bad pump.

Since the fuel is under pressure wouldn't bad o-rings cause fuel to spray out instead of sucking in air?

So, should I be looling for leaks at the filter and fuel line disconnects? I looked them over once quickly and didn't see anything or smell any fuel.

i would say it has to be the fuel pump. if there was a leak anywhere else it would be leaking fuel somewhere becuase of the pressure. so i say the pump has to be at fault. have you tried using a different guage just to see if maybe the gauge is messing up?

Yea, I think thatit has to be the pump too. My fuel pressure gauge is new and I'm pretty sure that it's good.I also though thatthe fuel line could be making contact with the hot exhaust and the bubbles were fuel vaporbubbles. But I didn't see the lineto be close enough to the exhaust for that.I took another look underneathand I can't see any leaks anywhere. I got another fuel pump today and I will be dropping the tank this weekend.
Anyone that has seen these bubbles in the fuel line please tell me about it. I have never seen this before but I am fairly new to mustangs.
