Default plenum and throttle body ?

If i went to a different throttle body(70mm), how important is it to get a bigger plenum? Does it hurt the car if i don't? Just wondering if i could have one without the other, or do i have to do both of them.

You can definately have one done without the other. The stock plenum is plenty big enough for a 70mm. Of course, you could get more hp out of a C&L plenum, but thats another $150. Or, you could also port and polish your old one. Its whatever you want to do. I would say go with the bbk or accufab throttle body. Accufab is very expensive, but in my eyes its the best. Get on Ebay and get on used, you can save alot of money, to go towards your next mod.

Ive seen dynos for both of them done without the other and you will get more power from just a plenum upgrade than just a TB upgrade.
