you need a different bracket for the 99, max safe psi on stock engine is 10psi, really best to stay around 8. Good for about 350 rwhp stock, more with bolt-ons

You really dont wanna go over 9 psi. I think you can pull 14 psi out of it but you will throw a rod easily under that much pressure. air to air intercoolers are nice.

Just OOC, what's different between the '99 and '00 GT engine that would necessitate a different bracket? They're both Windsor, same intake, heads etc.

Yeah, what is the difference? What do i need to replace to make it fit. Also, how important is it to have an intercooler. I know what it does, but what kinda gains will i see over non intercooled supercharger.

I believe you can run about 2 more psi with an inter/aftercooler

Saleen is right, thats because your less likely to detonate with a cooler charge temp Your also going to lose a little PSI with the charge cooler. That pressure drop is more than made up for with the cooler charge (the above sentences were just for newcommers that dont know, not trying to insult anyones intelligence .) So just drop that charge cooler in and up the boost a couple of #'s .
