half shafting the throttle body... not sure exactly how it does what it does, but apparently it helps flow alot or something... I can ask them?

Gears, I'd say 4.10's.</P>


Get some radials, do headers also. I think you should worry about breaking 13's before you think about 12's &amp; faster...</P>


4.10 gears, headers, MAF, throttle body...</P>


That's about $700-1000 in parts that should push you down to high 13's. A shift kit should get you consistantly in the 13's..from then on...it's going be to either fine tuning, or opening up the motor..</P>

Acually i have like about 4 grand to spend at the moment? so what should i do to atleast make it bust heads at the track say at least get me into the mid 13.</P>

Turbo will cost 4 g's, and more. </P>


If you have 4 grand, have your heads ported &amp; polished, long tube headers &amp; gears along with a shift kit, it will surely throw you deep into the 13's.</P>

I say procharger as well. You can get the s/c as was as the intercooler for under 4 G's. To be safe, stay under 12psi boost. GSR, you have some valid suggestions, but a supercharger is more practical since p&p will involve tearing down the valvetrian and engine heads removal and all of the down time associated with it, not to mention all the variables associated with safely running NOS. Thats about 3-5 days of down time depending on the turnaround time on valve jod and the port/polish job. Installing a supercharger, 1 full day. Instant gratification. Do additional mods if it aint fast enough.

Thank you guys! will do. I will let u know how my journal on destroying all turbo civic's!!!!!! well, it became that when one beat me...........I was like dude u beat a auto wit 200 pounds of stereo equipment and chrome 18s. And plus he had no interior. To me, you get respect if you have a fast STREET car. What is better than having a 12 or 11 second streetable everyday driver. You can bust *** on your way to work and home.

I must agree with you on the issue of wanting a fast street car. I hope that for the rest of my life I can have something fast on the street. Just for the fun of it. Turning peoples heads and making them envy you is a great feeling that ANYONE loves! But if you're going to spend that kind of money, definitely go with a s/c. Everyone has their preferences (I prefer Vortech) but they're all about the same. you're going to spend about the same amount by doing all that other stuff, and it's gonna put you running the same thing. Go s/c.
