if ur shredding belts its probably not the belt just being low quality, there is a different problem. Make sure all your pulleys are good, and i saw someone said soemthing about the idler puller, that has a tendency to wear out and tilt off center and make belts wear fast. also make sure your tensioner is still good too, same thing as the idler puller

+1 Gatorback. Just google 106 gatorback belt. That should find you a good belt that better last a long time.

+1 WTF an hour and a half???? i think he is sleeping during the first oh i would say hour and 10 minutes then takes a cigarette break half way through it.

i am gettin a weird rattling noise coming from what sounds like the a/c pulley, but from lookin nothing seems to be out of the ordinary.
The Reason i believe the belt to be starting to tear is because i decided belt dressing would help the belt from slipping,(NOOBIE MISTAKE!!!) when in fact it made it worse, i was told to use carburetor cleaner or brake cleaner on the pulleys and belt to clean them off and it seemed to be helping. But i think that it was slipping so bad before that it ruined it and know its starting to break down

Make sure you Belt tensioner isnt't ready to burst apart...they sometimes rattle when their about to pop..and belt shredding is also an indication...along with a squealing belt...Look and see if its bowed out from center....
