paxton to procharger?
Ok well lately i've been kickin around the idea of swapping my novi 1000 for a procharger.
Besides brackets what would i need? i mean i got my car pretty much setup for the blower. I think i could do it at pretty low cost if i could sell the novi w/ brackets and all.
p.s. the reason i've been kickin this idea around is because i want more boost than the novi is gonna give me. I mean right now i got a 3' pulley and i cant even make 10 psi through the intercooler. Vortech or Novi 2000 is also a possibility. Somebody give me some helpful input plz

RE: paxton to procharger?
depending on what your wanting, id say a procharger D1 or a vortech SQ or T trim would be a great replacement. You know a Novi 2000 would be much easier to transfer. I vote for Novi 2000

Unless your getting a killer deal on a procharger somehow I don't see why you wouldn't want to go novi 2000.
I don't see it being a big difference between a SQ/1000/P or really any other blower on the stock shortblock though. You sure nothing is leaking? did you loose a ton thru your FMIC? Your 1000 should be more than enough to make 10+ PSI on your stock setup.

well even on the paxton website it says that it only has the capabilities of like 14-15 psi max. and not that i want more than that but it just seems me that its not as efficient as others. So a novi 2000 seems like it would be a good choice. but i dunno.

yes! novi 2000 is an excellent choice, they even offer air to air intercoolers, and since u already got a paxton kit, it should bolt in very easily. It would be a lot more costly toswitch to a procharger or vortech
