Im curious is to why someone would be considered a retard if their mod was a chip.

I think what he meant by that was that there are alot better 1st mods that would be cheaper and more benefical than a chip. Not to mention they are best used to help tune the car in with more wild mods. I guess if you have an auto trans you would get the firmer shifts, which could make it a good early mod, but not for 5sp cars imo

I gained 19 hp with my chip.(my first mod)What other mod other than a power adder such as a s/c or NOS will give me that for $239.

Problem is with each mod thereafter, you need to get the chip reburned or you lose maximum benefit.

Having a chip burned once, or twice isA LOT cheaper than having it the very first modification, and having it burned 20 times.
