03 Eaton Setup to 2001 Cobra
Well, I am very shortly going to pickup my next project, which is a True Blue Metallic 2001 Cobra. I also have a friend with a 2004 Mystichrome Cobra. Lucky for me, he wants to go turbo, which means he needs to get rid of his blower setup, and needs a 99/01 Cobra intake manifold. What would pretty much happen is both cars go into the garage, and parts start swapping.
I know that there are many large things that need to get swapped over, such as lower intake, blower, MAF etc.
Would it be worth it to do all of this stuff if both cars are right there? Also, I would be paying only $1000 to him for all the parts, and we would be doing the swap ourselves with help from a guy who has worked on 03.04 cobras before.

Go for it! One of the guys in my car club did the terminator conversion to his 01 cobra. He's got $2000 invested in it. That's installed and tuned by Modular Powerhouse. It's an easy low 11 car. His only problem is traction
The more stuff you do on your own (along the lines of swapping parts) will save you all kinds of labor fees.

I figured it will be easier to do since both cars will be there. And since he will need parts off of the 01, and i'll need parts of the 04, it should be simple enough to do!
How much would you think would be a good offer?

Well after you get it installed, you'll have to get it tuned, so take that into consideration. I'd offer him like $600-$800 since you're trading your stuff for his.

like I said. The guy in our car club has a little (like $50 or so) over $2000 invested in his swap, and Modular Powerhouse Installed and tuned it. This was all including the price of buying the blower

That does seem a bit high since he needs your stuff too. A guy around here did that swap, the non supercharged cobras had higher compression than the 03-04 cobras so he made nearly 500 hp with a few more mods and the stock eaton.
