Default Rear axle

My brother hit a curb and the said it bent the rear axle. Where is a good place to get this part and what am i looking at for cost. Thanks guys

PS he hit the curb HARD

Pass side if that matters

Iwould just up grade to 31 spline axle.Check out summit racing.

The 31 spline axles are stronger. However, I'm pretty sure you would have to upgrade your carrier as well, as the stock axles are only 28 spline and I do not think that the 31 splines would work with the stock carrier.

well i found direct fit 31s on summit. Wouldnt that tell me if i needed anything else.

hate to bring a thread back from the dead but i am looking to install my new axle this weekend coming up what tools am i going to need?I wanna make sure i have everything i need so i dont have to run out. If you have done this before any info would help.
