Intakes for the 4.6L

Does anyone know of a good intake for the 04 GT's my friend showed me the volant cold air its pretty nice anyone have any suggestions??

damn my horse is old... 04 out already.. as far as i know the only intake really out that is an upgrade is the bullit... or you can have your current one ported out i believe...

What does removing the intake silencer do? I have never heard of this.

Intakes for the 4.6L

Its on your air intake box and looks like a little snorkle inside of your fender(unbolt your air intake box). Basically its function is to quiet the air intake sound that is similar in sound to a carburator with its air cleaner top off on older cars when you open the throttle. it restricts air flow so most people remove it. it popsm right off. Gives you a few horses 2-5HP and improves your throttle respone as well as fuel ecenomy.Great with a K&N air filter.
