The size of a tip is not going to do anything for backpressure. If you cut your stock tips off and weld on 3.5" tips, it isn't going to make a difference.
Well, at least any difference would probably be negative, sound wouldn't improve much if at all. []

. That's kinda rediculous then if they want to charge $320 for a mac catback with 3" tips and the same system with 3.5" is $370
The one for 370 had dual rolled tips- they are just better looking tips overall, thats why they cost more. Those tips alone cost 150 bones if you buy them by themselves.
