MGW's sure do look nice, but since the shift rod is not splined or bolted to the actual shifter i don't trust it. They only use allen pinch bolts to keep the shift rod where you want it on the shifter and the way i shift sometimes....I just dont trust that.
I had a Kirban, have driven several cars with Pro 5.0's, one stang with a tri-ax, and after all of that i conclude that I liked the Hurst. Hands down...

lol. go for a ride with me. I grew up with a dad who is known to rip shifter clean off of top loader 4-speeds. I've had to retap the rear case in my trans twice because I shift so hard. If the threads in my trans can't take the beating, their is no way in hell pinch bolts will.
