This was how much i spent:

500 - heads, manifold, thermistat housing, and coolant tube (used off of craigslist)
120 - head gasket kit and head bolts
25 - intake manifold gaskets
5 - coolant
30 - oil and filter
tack on an extra 50ish for random stuff like new bolts and claps and stuff.

so around 700 bucks give or take.

You are also going to need the tool to disconnect your fuel lines

how much does it cost for a PI swap?

why are you asking? you have a 2004 it already has PI heads. if you really want to do it for power do some cams while ur in there and get the pi heads ported. at home i have some ported pi heads with comp 274H cams beehive valve springs and stainless steel proflow valves the cam gear with arp cam gear bolts. all that cost me 1075. thats not bad considering the heads have all new seals new valves new everything and have been level checked and pressure checked. the cams do have 10k miles on them but look brand new. just a pi swap though without cams and porting and all that will run about 1200-1500 i think heads can be bought from summit with cams i think for about 350 each i think and a manifold from ebay for 175 shipped. u will need a cylinder head changing kit or u can buy all the things seperate but the changing kit is 117 from summit gaskets and head bolts and more. i would personally get cometics head gaskets for it they are about 50 bucks each but are very good and they are OEM. they do have different thicknesses if u want to lower ur compression or not but if u wont go F/I get the stock thickness it will put u at 10.5:1 compression. that will gain more power than lower compression. also with the 10.5:1 nitrous is not a problem if you want to do that down the road. 10.5:1 is a little high to run boost. i wouldnt do over 6lbs with that compression and 6lbs wont do a whole lot, but u will see a nice gain still. with my set up with these heads and cams and full exhaust im told i will be about 350+ hp to the wheels. make sure u get a full intake like a cold air and tb and plenum it will def help in the gains in power. i have a JLT full intake at home, bbk 75mm tb and trick flow plenum. if u do all this with the cams and everything with full exhaust u will see the same gains as me about 350 to he wheels thats cheaper and better gains that a supercharger. all thats will run you about 2200 i think save 1000 or a lil more than a supercharger with better gains sounds better to me. you might have to get a new fuel pump with this setup. i have not had mine done yet but the injectors will be fine but i hear from the shop the fuel pump might not have enough flow. hope this helps

make sure on that coolant tube you check it out a few days b4 you start....dealer will carry it, but your pocket will hurt. You can ask around and try and find it, but may take a few days to ship....trust me i know[:@]
