Hey everyone, i have a catted X and i heard that if i gutted the cats if would sound tinny? But it smells like rotten eggs at times. So really when i get it insepcted they'llsee the cats but really there's nothin in there. Should i gut them?

you could cut the cats, but if you do I would suggest welding a peice of straight pipe inside the gutted cat so that way the exhaust won't resonate inside the empty chamber.

might as well just completly cut the cats out, and pass emissions with a stock pipe or if you have to weld the cat's shell around the o/r pipe
