High RPM bogging is usually a fuel related problem. +1 on the fuel pump and/or filter. If it were bogging down low, then I would have said you have an ignition problem, but it sounds like the engine is starved for gas.
yeah always start with the smaller things and work your way up. Changing your fuel filter is an easy job you could do yourself, it'll only take 5-10 minutes.
ok thanks for the help...its time for a new fuel pump and filter might as well fix both of them so i dont have to wory about this problem again.i want to buy the svt focus pump because in the future im looking to go f/i...where could i buy one and the filter also.thanks
Did you actually take it to someone? Mine is doing the same thing, and I change my filter this weekend, and it didn't help any. Let us know how it goes ok. Thanks
