How easy is it to damage...

How easy is it to damage the plug wires, when putting them on or off. Or like how easy is it to damage them in general?

depends how old and what condition there in, i went to take em off my 92 lebaron and the conections on the end ripped right out like it was nothing, still stuck on the plug........

Yea it's all in the condition. If they are dry rotted they'll come apart while taking them off. You know then it's time for some new ones.
