Default I need some help

I have a 96 mustang gt. it has a 2 1/2" flowmaster exhaust(no cats), BBk pullys, ford racing 3.73 gears, cobra R calinduction hood,2" ebach loweringsprings,20" rims, and some other little things.........I'm wondering what I should do to make the most hp I can. I wanna be able to beat those dam* STI's and All those other 6 cylinders..........I was thinking on a couple of things to do....a procharger with intercooler, maybe a 6 speed tranny, and maybe that 5.0 stroker bore kit.....or do u think i should just buy a bigger enigine?.....what do u guys think?

First, ditch the pimpin' dubs and lose less power to rotational mass. After that do a PI swap and/or a blower. You will never be competition to those cars without at least one of them.

Yeah PI swap for sure 1st. If your moneys long enough for a supercharger, then why not get a turbo kit or 2?

You're not going to get anywhere near that until you do headwork to start. Do the PI swap, port&polish the heads, cams, and tune and you'll be around 300 rwhp. A blower and safe psi you should be around 375-400 depending on tune. You can't go much more than that due to the bottom end. If you want high horsepower cars, get a 4v or LS1.

Get rid of the ghetto wheels. Port and polish your heads (better then swapping stock PI heads) and slap a blower on it. I would upgrade the intake and the cams while your at it. But most of all get rid of the wheels. Even if you build your car fast enough to beat the STI's (which won't happen if the STI is modified and you keep the stock block) they will still laugh at you cause of the wheels.
