Something for my mom. While changing the rear brake pads on her 2000 muustang (3.8, V6) we cannot get the rear piston on the back of the caliper to go back in, so that the new pads will fit back inside the caliper. The old pads were worn down so the piston had become compressed, and now the new pads are bigger, so we cannot figure out how to get the piston to go back into place. SUGGESTIONS?!?!??!

okay, nevermind, apperently there's some kind of tool we had to rent. Nevermind guys. I wasn't aware after working on my miata! hahaha peace guys

oh yea had the same prob on my sho... i thought they were seized so put new ones on.. some to find out they r supposed to twist as u push them back in.... lol ooops my b
