Default injector install and fuel filter

im installing new injectors on my car because mine arent spraying right, they seem to all be clogged. Do i just pop off the rail and replace the injectors? Do i need any tools or anything for a smooth install? Do i need new o-rings or anything else? And for the fuel filter, i hear u just simply pop it out and put in the new one but i should buy a special tool. The autozone i went to has different fuel filter tools, can some1 post a pic of the one i need?

Just take the 4 8mm bolts out of the fuel rails and pull the rails. The injectors will come out with it. The new ones should have orings already. The fuel filter tool you want to get is the pack of a bunch of disc looking things that are black, red, white, blue and light blue. Don't get the sissor looking thing its garbage.

yes but its better if u get new ones... if youre sure the old o rings are ok tho its fine.

u need the fuel line tool for both getting to the rails and getting to the fuel filter

the scissor tool for the fuel filter is not bad, just takes some getting used to, and you will want new orings for the fuel filters, its cheap insurance, I have seen numerous times, ripped o rings, then leak. Also put a dab of oil on the new orings before install, that way you dont rip them

Advance auto parts has the tool you need, there are actually different sizes for different sized lines.. They are also sometimes used on air conditioning lines.. I think 5/16 is the size you need..

When taking the fuel filter off try pulling the lines "together" taking pressure off the coupler, then use your tool, the line should then pull apart.

There are also thumb type tools

These see to work easier for me.. . thats just my opinion though...
