Default Auto tranny question

So I know soon/in the future my tranny will eventually crap on me with the power im pushing and whats about to come. I was wondering with what tranny us auto guys replace the stockers with? I do not want a racing tranny such as a C4 because I drive the car a decent amount, but I do want something that will withhold the power i throw at it. Any input?

if you want another auto i think the c6 is alot stronger than the c4, so that may be a good alternative, if you want a stick i would say a tko500 or a t-56.

Definately not a stick, I plan on doing a stall with the tranny as well. I was going to just call Tim at MPH when my tranny went and have him build my AODE up, but maybe I'll look into the C6. Anybody else have information on the C6?

yeah i started looking into that. more of a track transmission. I think the route im going to go is once i get the cams to throw a dirty dog converter in. When my tranny does finally give in on me ill just get mine built up stronger.

I dont know if lightning trannys could be fabd up to fit the stang but it would be nice. Those things can hold some nice power.
