Default Torque box welding?

hey guys, for x mas im getting some Steeda aluminum non adjustable uppers/lowers. I never bring the car to the track, but i like running her on the street. Just wondering if it will be necessary to get my torque box welded since im doing the uppers or is it only necessary if you beat the hell out of it at the track?

As for the upper control arms, heres a really quick read

Welding the torque box in your situation would do little more than empty your wallet more than xmas has already done.

yeah ive talked to a few guys and they said just do the uppers/lowers for a street car. It is unecessary unless you have a track car to get the torque box welded.

your car doesn't know if you are on the street or track. If you plan on launching hard and hooking, do it, if not... don't

well yeah, thats what i meant by a "track car" - if you frequently launch the car hard and plan on hooking.

UCA's are bad for our cars no matter what your application is.

On the street, you'd hafta be doing some pretty nasty launches to do the same type of damage you'd do on a prepped track

I have a video of me raping (I mean raping) and 03 Cobra out the hole on the street. Maybe it's because I went out on slicks. I'm all about the hole shot, if you can't get me out the hole you probably won't run me down.
