yeaa guy i know said that spec will grab hard as sh*t all day and not slip but he reccomended the centerforce because it will still grab but not as hard so wont kill the tranny as fast..but im still undecided also
That is a great point scoob. I was told that when I bought this clutch, and wanted to put about 700ft/lbs through it, it was gonna grenade my tranny, b/c it wouldn't slip. Slipping would help keep your ENTIRE drivetrain in good shape, but I just didn't want to deal with that BS.

There is nothing as disappointing as having your car stop pulling when you shift into 4th. Believe me. lol

I have a dual friction and it will not hold up to my turbo. It only has about 5000 miles on it and it is already slipping. I am making close to 500ft/lbs of torque so I am going with the spec stage 3 now.

I am having the same conflict..about to put in a 331 and later going with a turbo setup and cant figure out which clutch setup i want..I already have a 28 ounce steel flywheel just need to find something that will do well..when turbo is slapped on im going to be looking at around 500 to 550 at the wheels. I would get a spec but not sure if I can handle the rattle and I have never drivin a car with one and dont know how streetable the are
